Can I enroll in the two courses separately?

Yes, you may enroll in them separately, but enrolling in them separately costs $1,014 outside the Sell It Like Serhant New Agent Sales Accelerator program (well more than $300 more!). Through our partnership with Real Estate University, we’re able to offer the courses together for just $697.

How long will it take me to complete my real estate pre-licensing course?

You can complete your course in as little as 5 weeks or as long as one year. Real Estate University offers flexible scheduling and a rolling schedule, so you can start at any time. If you have to miss a class, you can make it up next time the same topic is offered.

Once I register, when can I begin classes? I don’t see a starting date.

You can start any time. The pre-licensing course course has rolling start dates, meaning you can start with any topic in the syllabus. You don’t have to take the topics in order. Once you sign up, Real Estate University will provide you with a schedule, and you can use that to determine your preferred start date.

The classes are module formatted so each class is an isolated topic. Therefore, you will not be lost no matter which day you start. There are students starting and finishing every day. For example, your first class might cover environmental issues and another student’s first class might be covering Fair Housing. The classes do not have to be taken in any particular sequence.

Sell It Like Serhant: The Course is on-demand, so you can start it at any time.

What do I do after I complete the courses?

For the Connecticut pre-licensing course, Real Estate University will give you step-by-step instructions on how to apply to take the state exam. If you’d like the information in the meantime, click here.

Once you’re finished with Sell It Like Serhant, you’ll receive a certificate of completion mailed to you, showing your clients you’ve learned what it takes to Sell It Like Serhant. Then, We’ll see if you’re ready for Level 3 of Sell It Like Serhant!

How do I get the books that go with the pre-licensing course?

The textbooks are e-books. Once you join, your two e-book access codes will be emailed to you.

How much studying and homework is involved with the New Agent Sales Accelerator?

To be prepared for the Connecticut state real estate exam, we recommend reading both e-textbooks included with the course, answering the chapter quizzes, and doing the end-of-book sample exams. Other than that, there is no homework required.

Sell It Like Serhant contains worksheets and exercises, too. 

In both cases, you get out of the courses what you put into the courses. If you do the work, the work will take care of you.

Can I get my brokerage license through the New Agent Sales Accelerator?

At this time, we’re only offering the Connecticut pre-licensing course to become a licensed associate real estate salesperson.

No! All of my sales strategies apply no matter where you sell. Sure, some details of the transaction may be different (co-op boards, anyone?). And, yes, the examples I use in the course are my real clients and listings here in New York City. But these are all universal strategies you should use wherever there are humans buying homes from other humans. That’s everywhere.
